A chainmail coif is a hood that can be worn over a leather or fabric skullcap or arming cap, additionally the coif itself can be worn under a helmet for maximum protection. Made of anodized aluminum this coif has a gray appearance. It has been made of 5/16" inside diameter rings and features leather trim around the face hole. Anodization makes the aluminum a little stronger and so these rings will resist damage greater than the plain aluminum ones we sell.
